After spending most of his senior year working with tipping-bucket rain gauges in an effort to characterize their under-count as a function of instantaneous rain rate, Gavin went on to spend the summer of 2019 continuing to work with our tipping buckets in order to get them deployed out at our field station. He has now returned to his hometown of Clover, SC, to look for work.
